Ben Kingsley was born Krishna Bhanji on December 31, 1943 in Scarborough, Yorkshire, England. His father, Rahimtulla Harji Bhanji, was a Kenyan-born medical doctor, of Gujarati Indian descent, and his mother, Anna Lyna Mary (Goodman), was an English actress. Ben began to act in stage plays during the 1960s. He soon became a successful stage actor, and also began to have roles in films and television. His birth name was Krishna Bhanji, but he changed his name to "Ben Kingsley" soon after gaining fame as a stage actor, fearing that a foreign name could hamper his acting career.
Kingsley first earned international fame for his performance in the drama movie Gandhi (1982). His performance as Mohandas K. Gandhi earned him international fame. He won many awards - including an Academy Award for Best Actor. He also won Golden Globe, BAFTA and London Film Critics' Circle Awards. After acting in Gandhi (1982), Ben was recognized as one of the finest British actors.
After his international fame for appearing in Gandhi (1982), Kingsley appeared in many other famous movies. His success as an actor continued. His performance as Itzhak Stern in the drama movie Schindler's List (1993) earned him a BAFTA nomination for best supporting actor. Schindler's List (1993) won seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture. During the late 1990s, Kingsley acted in many successful movies. He played Sweeney Todd in the television movie The Tale of Sweeney Todd (1997), for which he was nominated for the Screen Actors' Guild Award. His other notable role was as Otto Frank in the television movie Anne Frank: The Whole Story (2001), for which he won the Screen Actors' Guild Award.
In 2002, Kingsley was appointed Knight Bachelor of the Order of the British Empire in the Queen's New Years Honours for his services to drama. In 2013, he received the BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Filmed Entertainment. Michael John Myers was born in 1963 in Scarborough, Ontario, to Alice E. (Hind), an officer supervisor, and Eric Myers, an insurance agent. His parents were both English, and had served in the Royal Air Force and British Army, respectively.

Charles Laughton was born in Scarborough, Yorkshire, England, to Eliza (Conlon) and Robert Laughton, hotel keepers of Irish and English descent, respectively. He was educated at Stonyhurst (a highly esteemed Jesuit college in England) and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (received gold medal). His first appearance on stage was in 1926. Laughton formed own film company, Mayflower Pictures Corp., with Erich Pommer, in 1937. He became an American citizen 1950. Kathryn Greenwood (or "Kathy" as she prefers to be called) graduated from the Agincourt Collegiate Institute, and attended the American Acadamy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, California, where she spent two years studying acting. When she returned to Canada in 1988, the fresh-face actress became a staple in Canadian comedy, performing in several theater productions, landing parts in movies such as Switching Goals (1999), and guest-starring on numerous television series. In 1996, Kathy landed the part of aunt "Grace Bailey" on the Canadian drama series Wind at My Back (1996), which lasted for five successful seasons. Mark Taylor was born and raised in Toronto, but relocated to Palm Harbor, Florida during his last two years of high school, before returning to Toronto. Steve Byers was born in Ontario Canada. He began acting while attending Unionville School for the Arts. He got his feet wet with parts in film and television in shows like La Femme Nikita and the feature Slapshot 2. He first became a star name in his home country, when he landed the lead role in the series, Falcon Beach, playing the character Jason Tanner for ABC. Varun Saranga was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. He became interested in acting during high school through filmmaking, directing and starring in various student films. After attending an open call at 18 and landing his first major role playing the geeky but lovable AJ Mehta on the hit YTV show How to Be Indie, he was inspired to pursue an acting career professionally.

He is an actor and writer, known for Will & Dewitt (2007).- James Gallanders was born at Scarborough General Hospital on February 9th, 1970 in Toronto, Ontario. Raised in Oshawa, James discovered acting at a young age as a means to overcome his stutter. Having found his voice, James became heavily involved in theatre in his community and at school.

Geneviève Appleton started her career in the 1980s as an actor in such films and television programs as KIDS OF DEGRASSI and ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, THE SEQUEL (US title: ANNE OF AVONLEA). After receiving her B.A.A. in Film Production with Honours from Ryerson University (Toronto) in 1994, she started working behind the camera as associate producer trainee on the award-winning CBC mini-series THE ARROW (starring Dan Aykroyd) and on the development of feature films SUCH A LONG JOURNEY directed by Sturla Gunnarsson and WHOLE NEW THING directed by Amnon Buchbinder, among others. She associate produced WILBY WONDERFUL (starring Sandra Oh, Ellen Page, Paul Gross, Callum Keith Rennie and Rebecca Jenkins) by writer-director Daniel MacIvor, which screened at festivals around the world and is distributed in Canada by Mongrel Media and in the US by Film Movement. She recently produced Amnon Buchbinder's short, TRAVELLING MEDICINE SHOW: APOCALYPSE and is producing his interactive documentary BIOLOGY OF STORY.
Since receiving her MFA in Screenwriting from York University in 2003, Geneviève co-wrote narration for the travel series GAP: GREAT ADVENTURE PEOPLE (broadcast on National Geographic among other channels), as well as two feature film documentaries, IN THE LAND OF THE MOOSE directed by Harold Arsenault and PARTLY PRIVATE directed by Danae Elon, which won the best New York Documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival.
For her company, White Wave Productions (est. 1992), Geneviève has written, produced, directed and edited several films. Her documentary A GARDEN'S FAMILY aired on Vision TV for several years. ACTOR'S TRANSFORMATION, about the work of extraordinary acting teacher Deena Levy and her students, premiered at the Female Eye Film Festival and aired on Bravo! Canada. Her short dance film CALLING THE MINSTREL was screened at the 2010 Olympics' Cultural Olympiad Digital Edition, the Atlanta Film Festival, and the Izmir International Short Film Festival. She produced Seth Feldman's documentary THE DACHAU LINE which was screened at several conferences including Visible Evidence at New York University, and produced his next documentary, MAUTHAUSEN TWICE, which premiered at the Toronto Independent Film Festival and the Utanç Muzesi ("Museum of Shame") in Turkey. She was invited to screen and give a talk on her documentary about the EAST TIMOR PEACE MISSION at the 20th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony and Conference in Timor-Leste, where it was also shown on East Timor Television. Footage from the film and an interview with Geneviève was featured as part of a new documentary by Francisco Manso Producoes for RTP1 (the Portuguese public TV channel). She also has several other dramatic and documentary projects in development. She has just completed co-directing and co-producing Colleen Wagner's powerful documentary WOMEN BUILDING PEACE about women in Africa rebuilding their lives and societies after GBV, war and genocide.
As Visiting Assistant Professor from 2005-2011, Geneviève taught Screenwriting and Media Production at the Department of Communication and Design of Bilkent University, Turkey. In 2011-2012 she taught "Anatomy of the Feature Film" and "Film Production for Non-Majors: The New Realism" at York University and "Introduction to Dramatic Writing" at Sheridan College. Since 2010 she has been teaching Screenwriting: Introduction and Screenwriting II at University of Toronto's School of Continuing Education both in class and online, as well as workshops in script development and acting for writers and directors.- Actor

Extremely prolific and ubiquitous British background player Marcus Guy Wyndham Standeven was born to Leslie St. John Standeven and his wife Dorothy on August 28, 1928 in Scarborough, Yorkshire, England. A onetime member of the White Rose Players Repertory Theatre in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England, Standeven began his acting career on stage in the mid-1940's; his stage credits include productions of such plays as "Murder Happens," "Payment Deferred," "The Firstborn," "Cinderella," and "The Poison Tree." Following service in the army Guy moved to London, England to pursue acting full time and first started appearing in films in often uncredited minor roles in the early 1950's. One of the busiest and most tireless of British bit players, Standeven could be spotted in scores of movies and television shows in which he was frequently cast as doctors, policemen, military officers, restaurant patrons, or various men of the cloth. Tara Mason is a Pakistani-Canadian born August 16, 1986 in Scarborough, Ontario. She began her training in drama at a young age and studied visual and performing arts in high school. She began acting and modeling at the age of 15 and got her start in a commercial for the clothing store West 49 portraying a snowboarder. When she graduated from high school, she joined the Second City Theatre. Bizzy D, grew up in a variety of different settings. Starting out in Scarborough, Canada his rep as a champion recess fighter in elementary school. That all ceased when he retired from the WRFA (world recess fighting ass) at the tender age of eleven. He then moved on to lead a simpler life in the small farming town of Keane, filled with fishing and Rod Stewart albums.
Realizing he needed more, Bizzy and his mom picked up and moved to Ajax. Soon after Deryck bought a guitar. Then it started. Bands and song ideas started to flow. Former bands include: Powerful Young Hustlers, Eternal Death, Chemical Head, Door's of Draven, Keane's unbeatable teens, Kaspir and Final Notice. Then of course in the summer of '96 Deryck and Steve Jocz formed SUM41.- Director

Sudz works on both sides of the fence as a freelance writer and director for TV dramas and feature films. He has directed episodes for Netflix's Ginny and Georgia, CW's Superman and Lois, and CBC's For The Record. Sudz's feature film, Home Again, won the prestigious PAFF BAFTA Festival Choice Award in Los Angeles and was nominated for Best Direction from the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC). Home Again is the follow up to his multiple award winning and Genie nominated debut feature film Love, Sex and Eating the Bones. His Dramatic series 'Shoot the Messenger,' with writer/producer Jennifer Holness was aired on the CBC and WGN America.
Sudz is currently developing a comedy series for CFC-Netflix, #relationshipgoals, and will be producing and directing on a powerful new documentary series, BLK: An Origin Story, that he co-created about lost Black History in Canada.
Sudz directed The Phantoms, which won an International Kids Emmy. He also won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction for the TV movie as well as garnering a Director's Guild of Canada Best Direction nomination. The Dream Street Pictures project aired on CBC.
Sudz also co-created his first television series, the half-hour comedy 'She's The Mayor' with Jennifer Holness and Min Sook Lee. He also wrote and directed several episodes. The show received numerous critical nods and is distributed by BBC WorldWide. Previous to this, Sudz was involved with the feature film Toronto Stories, an anthology in conjunction with three other directors and was invited to TIFF.
Sudz also co-wrote and directed the dramatic miniseries Guns for CBC based on four families caught up in illegal gun trafficking. Starring Colm Feore and Elisha Cuthbert, Guns won five Gemini Awards including Best Writing and Directing for Sudz.
Sudz also wrote and directed the triple Gemini award-winning (Best Direction, Best Supporting Actress, Best Television Movie) Doomstown, an MOW for CTV/Sarrazin- Couture.
Sudz's episodic television directing work includes: NBCs Blindspot, CWs Flash, Supergirl and Batwoman, Netflix's Designated Survivor and Ginny and Georgia, Syfy Network's Haven, CW's Reign, Beauty and the Beast, CBC's Cracked, numerous Murdoch Mysteries and Frankie Drake, Heartland and Wild Roses.
He directed the pilot and second episode of Da Kink in my Hair for Global, Degrassi: The Next Generation for CTV, The Famous Jett Jackson for Disney, Drop the Beat for CBC, Skin Deep III for Life Network, Tell It Like It Is for W Network, Brand New Life for NFB/YTV and Canadian Geographic for Kids for TVO.
Sudz's powerful half-hour dramatic debut, My Father's Hands screened at The Toronto International Film Festival. It won the $20,000 HBO Short Film Award at the Acapulco Black Film festival, and in Canada it went on to win prizes at the Yorkton Film Festival (four awards including best drama, script, direction and best actor). The film was also nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Short. In addition, Sudz co-directed the National Film Board's documentary film, Speakers for the Dead.- Mikey North was born in Cayton, Scarborough and began acting around the age of twelve in productions at the local Y.M.C.A. and the Scarborough Dance Warehouse. Whilst acting in a play at the Scarborough Sixth Form College he was spotted and gained an agent at the age of 18. His first professional work was in the play 'Bottle Universe' in London's West End, which won him the British Theatre Guide's award for the most promising newcomer. Small roles in television shows like 'The Bill' and 'Waterloo Road' followed and in 2008 he joined the cast of 'Coronation Street' as a member of the troublesome Windass clan.

Ron Leach is a noted Canadian Casting Director (thirty years experience), award-winning Director (thirteen international award-winning short films produced and directed in the past seven years), award-winning Writer (11 best screenplay awards in the past year for his screenplay Fadeaway), and renowned Acting Coach (celebrating twenty years of teaching actors how to audition and perform on camera). Ron is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion; past president of the Dora Mavor Moore award-winning Acme Theatre Company (ten years); past Chairman of the Board of the Canadian International Animation Festival (six years and two festivals); as a talent agent he was the founder and President of the Board of the Talent Representatives Association of Canada. He has been a juror of the International Emmy Awards; the Canadian Film Awards; the Genie Awards; the Gemini Awards; the Oaxaca International Film Festival (Mexico); the Smart Phone Film Festival; the Durham International Film Festival; and is a regular judge of the Toronto Monologue Slam. Ron has taught acting for the camera at The Stratford Shakespearean Festival; The Vancouver Film School; St. Lawrence College; and has taught the art of filmmaking from script to screen at numerous colleges and universities in Oaxaca Mexico.- Tall (5'9"), buxom, and shapely dark-haired brunette knockout Jayde Nicole was born on February 19, 1986 in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Jayde started modeling for catalogs and fashion shows at age six. Her family moved to Port Perry when she was seven. Nicole decided to take a hiatus from modeling at age eleven. At age fifteen she was spotted outside of the Air Canada Centre by a Toronto modeling agency scout who offered her the opportunity to continue modeling. Jayde briefly studied hotel management at George Brown University in Toronto, but eventually dropped out to focus on modeling instead. Her mother suggested to Nicole that she pose for "Playboy." Jayde was chosen to be the Playmate of the Month in the January, 2007 issue of the famous men's magazine. She was named Playmate of the Year in 2008 and has the distinction of being the first Canadian to receive this particular honor in 26 years. Nicole has appeared as herself on the TV shows "The Girls Next Door" and "The Hills." Moreover, Jayde has been featured in such magazines as "Details," "American Curves," "FHM," "Elle," "Cosmo," and "Vegas." Nicole started a charity called Lengths of Love, which encourages people to donate their hair to be fashioned into wigs for pediatric patients in need. She lives in West Hollywood.
